Syndicated columnist Froma Harrop is a devoted spear service for the Democratic Celebration. It was Harrop who publicly instructed that Bernie Sanders was a racist (“racist lite”)when he was battling Hillary Clinton within the Democratic Celebration’s presidential primaries in 2016. Harrop’s views seldom depart from these of the Democratic Celebration’s insiders.
Thus, I used to be startled to learn Harrop’s scathing criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris in a latest op-ed essay. Harris, Harrop wrote, has a “file of problematic conduct” and gaffes “and does not perceive that California swagger married to identification politics just isn’t universally cherished by American voters.”
Harrop professes to be mystified by Biden’s selection of Harris as vice chairman. “Why Biden made her his operating mate flooring me to this present day.”
Harrop even goes as far as to problem Harris’s standing as a member of an oppressed minority. “Harris'[s] mom was a medical researcher from India and her father a Jamaica-born professor of economics at Stanford,” Harrop noticed. “She was hardly a deprived sufferer of Jim Crow.” Ouch!
In my thoughts, Froma Harrop’s flaming denunciation of Kamala Harris is a transparent sign that the Democrats are dumping Harris earlier than the 2024 presidential race. I actually hope so.
Maybe President Biden may discover a quiet put up for Kamala to get her off the nationwide stage. She’d make an awesome U.S. Ambassador to Chad.
